A Word of Caution About CBD

Quite often we get inquiries from people saying that they are using CBD they purchased over the counter, and "it doesn't really work."

THC and CBD are the power couple of cannabis compounds. Studies have proven they work best together. CBD products are not as effective when purchased over the counter, as there is NO THC present, or very very little THC, and often the other compounds have been stripped, even the terpenes, and terpenoids.  These are all compounds that create an entourage effect.  Scientific studies have established that CBD and THC interact synergistically to enhance each other’s therapeutic effects. British researchers have shown that CBD potentiates THC’s anti-inflammatory properties in an animal model of colitis. Scientists at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco determined that a combination of CBD and THC has a more potent anti-tumoral effect than either compound alone when tested on brain cancer and breast cancer cell lines. And extensive clinical research has demonstrated that CBD combined with THC is more beneficial for neuropathic pain than either compound as a single molecule.

All CBD products from licensed Florida medical marijuana dispensaries are tested for contaminants, and levels of compounds.  The products are also labeled accurately which has been an ongoing problem with over the counter CBD products.  When buying CBD from licensed dispensaries you can trust that you are actually getting what you paid for AND the components that activate each other are present, unlike over the counter products.

What Our Patients are Saying......

"With a wide range of health problems, I came in as a skeptical wreck, and these people were so patient and understanding, and helpful.  I can not thank them enough. I am having unbelievable results.  My husband said I am a different person.  Things that I didn't expect to benefit it has helped. From reducing my blood sugar, to pain, sleep, everything has been beneficial. With NO side effects.  Being a very religious person, I was taught this was not good, and all I can say now, is God put it here, and it works.  I tell everyone who will listen.  This has dramatically changed my life for the better."

Humans have cultivated and consumed the flowering tops of the female cannabis plant since virtually the beginning of recorded history. The miracle leaf has been used in cannabis-based textiles dating to 7,000 B.C. Textiles have been recovered in northern China, and the plant's use as a medicinal and euphoric agent date back nearly as far. In 2008, archaeologists in Central Asia discovered over two pounds of cannabis in the 2,700-year-old grave of an ancient mummified shaman.
